
There will be no school on January 2, 2023, due to a conflict with state law. A make-up day will be discussed at tonight's board meeting, and we will announce that date once it has been made official.

Once again, Mother Nature is calling the shots. There will be no school at Burke Central this Friday, December 16.


Burke Central will start 2 hours late tomorrow. Check back for further updates.

After reevaluating, Burke Central School will be closed today, December 15th, due to road and weather conditions. Stay safe everyone!

Burke Central School is planning a 2-hour late start for Thursday, December 15th. School will begin at 10:30 a.m. with no breakfast served. Buses will run where possible with no morning activity bus. We will monitor weather and road conditions and will update you as soon as possible if changes need to be made.

National Cocoa Day was December 13th . BC celebrated by serving up hot chocolate to students and staff.


There will be no in-person school tomorrow, December 14th, due to the storm. School will be virtual, however, so students will bring work to do at home tomorrow. Work not completed will result in an absence for attendance. Activity buses will not run tomorrow, or any day school is cancelled due to weather.

Mr. Argosino is in need of a few hard hats for the Christmas concert. If you have one or two you would be willing to lend, please contact the school. Thank you.
