Awards Night will be held in Powers Lake School, Monday, May 8 at 7 pm. All students, along with their families, from grades 7 thru 12 that participated in VB, GBB, BBB, and Track are encouraged to attend and be recognized.

On Friday, April 28th, Mrs. Chrest took her Art Class to Minot. The class had made lap quilts and donated them to the Cancer Center in Minot. We also enjoyed Margie's Art Glass Studio (painted ceramics of their choice), Escape Point (The Artist), and joined Mrs. Nelson and State Speech Team for Laser Tag.




The elementary math meet team went to the Burke Country Math Meet today in Bowbells!
Miranda Kalmbach got 1st place for 5th grade.
Emmaline Ruby got 3rd place for 6th grade.
Cole Sandberg and Emma Nelson won the 5th and 6th grade calculator tests!



updated information: Recreation Foundation created a proposal to open and operate a Rec Center in Lignite for area youth.
The k.f. Project developed a plan to build and operate a student run greenhouse and garden to supply the community with fresh produce.
