
Exciting day for the BC Seniors. College App Day 2023!


Thank you to Deputy Almilie and Deputy Mueller for being our Lunch Talk guests yesterday. They visited with our high school students about careers in law enforcement.


The New Town Eagle Feather Club will be performing traditional Native American dances at Burke Central School on October 9th at 11am. The community is invited to come and enjoy this event.

We are looking for pumpkins! If you or someone you know has extra pumpkins we are in need of approximately 10-15. Thank you.


The 5th & 6th graders have been studying cells! This week they made animal and plant cell models and used different materials to represent the different organelles found in each cell. They also had to write about each organelle’s function.

First District Health Unit will be administering flu vaccines at Burke Central on Monday, October 23rd for staff and students. Please follow the attached directions to register.

The Burke Central School Board will meet tomorrow, September 6th at 7pm at the school. The public is invited to attend.

On Monday September 11, Burke Central School will be opening their doors for Patriot Day. We are inviting our local first responders, firefighters, law enforcement and military personnel for lunch. Please RSVP to the school at 701-933-2821 by Thursday September 7th. You may join us at 11am or 12pm. We look forward to seeing you.

The First District Health Unit will hold a vaccination clinic on September 13th at Burke Central for students in need of vaccinations. If you received a letter stating that your child requires vaccinations, please have the consent form to the school no later than August 30th.

Tomorrow is the first day for students at Burke Central. We hope you had a great summer. We wanted to remind you that our breakfast program begins at 7:50. Please do not drop off students before that time. our school day begins at 8:25 and ends at 3:30. On Wednesdays, school dismisses at 3:00.

There will be a short volleyball parent meeting tomorrow at 7:30pm at the Powers Lake School Gym. Parents of volleyball players are encouraged to attend to meet the coaches and discuss expectations and answer any questions.

Burke Central is kicking off the 2023-2024 school year with our Back-to-School night on August 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. You won't want to miss this one!
